Community Feasts Guide

Community Feasts in the Azure Span are a tasty and chaotic jumble of “YES CHEF!” and flying fish. If you’ve ever braved the zone lag to offer your assistance to Big Chef Kinook but had no idea what was going on, this is for you.

Basics of Community Feasts

  • Community Feasts are unlocked with Iskaara Tuskarr reputation and require Renown 3.
  • Unlocking feasts on one character will unlock it for all others on your account.
  • The feast event occurs around every 3-3.5 hours in western Azure Span, south of Brackenhide Hollow.
  • An announcement will alert you 15 minutes before the feast begins with a marker on the map.

Once the feast event begins, you will have 15 minutes to complete as many of Big Chef Kinook’s tasks as possible. If many players participate, you will see a lot of ground clutter and task-related interactivity. Your actions do not count toward progress unless Big Check Kinook has specifically assigned you a task, so pay attention!

  • Your task will appear under the event timer/in your quest log. You can ignore what’s being yelled out in chat. Only complete your assigned task.
    • If you don’t currently have a task, stand next to the pot and wait.
  • Your active quest text will display “Wait for your orders from the chef” at the beginning and switch to the task you need to complete once assigned.
    • If you go several minutes without getting a task, you may want to try reloading or leaving the soup area and coming back in.
    • Tasks include activities like defending the soup against spawned monsters, purchasing ingredients from the nearby townspeople, catching certain fish, etc.

Completion Rewards

  • Complete one of Big Chef Kinook’s tasks during the event:
    • 25 rep with the Iskaara Tuskarr
  • (Weekly Quest) Complete five tasks during the event:
    • 500 rep with the Iskaara Tuskarr
    • Item: Supply-Laden Soup Pot
      • Can contain gear, cooking reagents, Dragon Isles Artifacts, Primal Chaos, and a chance at the Gral’s Reverence pattern.
  • Eat the soup after the event is complete:
    • One hour buff that grants a 15 second health and versatility boost upon killing a Dragon Isles creature. The buff’s stats improve with the quality of the soup created during the event

Yes Chef!

That should be it! If you’re ready for the next adventure, why not check out more events or the coolest places in WoW?
