One of the most overwhelming things about Dragonflight (aside from the number of available quests compared to the quest log capacity) is the enormous amount of carefully crafted nooks and crannies, subtle mini-stories, and beautiful places to explore. While not necessarily a super secret, Longclaw Island is a small island worth a visit that may be overlooked because of its location. Grab the quest A Far Furbolg Friend and head to the westernmost point of the Azure Span.
There, you’ll see the Longclaw tribe of furbolg, various critters who live in curiously detailed burrows, and a cave with an opening that lets you peer inside but (annoyingly) not sneak into.
Available Quests for Longclaw Island
- No Vengeance on an Empty Stomach: Pick up from from Old Grimtusk. Fish three Frozen Tail Darters in the pool next to the NPC
- A Far Furbolg Friend: Speak with Barst at (1, 39)
- All Brawn, No Brains: Head to (21, 35) and speak with Varsek.
- Grimtusk’s Sister: Speak with Naluki in the house at (12, 49)
- Elementary, My Dear Drakonid: Follow the NPC, then interact with crystal. Trace the circle pattern on the ground by walking along each line of it.
- Varsek Recruited: Return to Old Grimtusk (58, 34)
- A Little Kelp for My Friends: Slay the Wild Kelp Elemental in cave (0.5, 38)
- Barst Recruited: Return to Old Grimtusk to report you’ve recruited Barst
- Naluki’s Letter: Deliver Naluki’s fishhead to Old Grimtusk
- Loose Ends: Go to (58, 44) for some RP dialogue, then kill Frostbite to complete this storyline and earn reputation with the Iskaara Tuskarr and a cape.
